How does the Winter Olympics impact the British Columbia town of Whistler, where Bobsled and Slaoam events are scheduled? For starters, the Canadia Olympic House has taken over the Whistler Public Library. Here is what is posted on the library website: "Whistler Public Library will be reborn as Whistler Canada Olympic House during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The building will serve as an accredited hosting facility for the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Government of Canada, the Government of British Columbia, and the Resort Municipality of Whistler."
Hoping to get book recommendations from Whistler Public Library or other Canadian library system. So far, I've only read Vancouver and California (Tahoe) based murder-mystery books in preparation for the trip north.
